What does OSHA require for jobsite toilets?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(c) requires toilets on every construction jobsite, scaled by headcount. Table D-1 sets 1 toilet for 20 or fewer workers, 1 seat and 1 urinal per 40 workers for 20 or more, and 1 seat and 1 urinal per 50 workers for 200 or more.

Does OSHA require handwashing on a jobsite?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51(f) requires washing facilities where workers apply paints, coatings, herbicides, insecticides or other harmful contaminants, located near the work. Many other sites rely on the sanitizer inside each standard unit. We suggest a handwashing station wherever crews eat.

What are the OSHA rules for farm crews?
OSHA 29 CFR 1928.110 requires 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility for every 20 field workers, within a quarter-mile walk of where they work. It applies to agricultural employers with 11 or more hand-labor field workers on a given day. McLennan County farms with moving crews often need units relocated.
